Our Objective
Education and Inspiration
To organize events featuring internationally renowned speakers from the humanitarian and art scene to inspire and educate individuals in Singapore. These events will use art, music, and storytelling as mediums to foster social awareness, empathy, and active community engagement. By encouraging discussions on global humanitarian efforts, the charity seeks to nurture a culture of giving and social responsibility within Singapore.
Community Engagement and Social Impact
To arrange community engagement initiatives that expose Singaporeans to humanitarian and social development efforts, both locally and globally. These initiatives may include guided learning journeys, volunteer opportunities, and collaborative projects with international and regional community programs. The goal is to inspire Singaporeans to take meaningful action within their own communities, fostering a spirit of volunteerism and philanthropy.
Our Alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals
The Smiling Gecko Project has many parallels with the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, to which Cambodia committed in 2015. No fewer than 11 of the 17 areas defined by the UN are affected by the project.

Smiling Gecko Switzerland, Cambodia, and Singapore have a shared commitment to empowering rural communities in Cambodia through education, sustainable development, and social enterprise.
Smiling Gecko Singapore focus on engaging the Singapore community by creating opportunities for youth and professionals to connect with global humanitarian issues through fundraising, events, skills-sharing, and school/corporate partnerships.
