What Creating Change Through Purpose and Partnership can look like
As part of the NUS Distinguished Senior Fellowship Programme (DSFP), senior leaders from the National University of Singapore visited Smiling Gecko in Cambodia for an immersive experience exploring purpose, impact and the possibilities of the “100-Year Life.”
The 13-week programme encourages participants to reimagine their next chapter beyond traditional career transitions, with a focus on deeper purpose and meaningful contribution. During their time at Smiling Gecko, participants experienced our holistic model in action—bringing together education, agriculture, hospitality and community development to create sustainable opportunities for rural communities.
The visit offered a unique opportunity to connect with the people, stories and work behind Smiling Gecko, while reflecting on how purpose and impact can shape the next chapter of a meaningful life.
